The new coaches will have glass-domed roofs on the upper deck to maximise the scenic view for passengers and some coaches will have dining facilities on the lower deck.

The new coaches are part of Rocky Mountaineer's project to revitalise its entire fleet which includes refurbishing existing vehicles. The company says that this is the largest capital investment programme since it launched its first services in 1990.
