The 7-car articulated set is 134.54m long and has a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The EMU is also the first Stadler train to be built for BC with a 3480mm-wide bodyshell. The fleet of 16 suburban and regional Flirt trains already in service with BC have 3280mm-wide bodyshells.
The EPm-001 seats a total of 382 passengers, including 16 in first class accommodation.
The second set is due to be delivered to BC in February.
In addition to domestic services from Minsk to Brest and Gomel, the trains will be used international routes including Minsk - Vilnus and Minsk - Smolensk
