The first bogies to be manufactured at the plant will be ready in January 2016 and Szolnok will initially produce bogies for a batch of 15 Flirt EMUs ordered by Hungarian national train operator MÁV-Start.
Stadler produces 1500 bogies a year and the Szolnok plant will be capable of producing up to 500 units annually.
