A 78m-long four-car EMU will seat 212 passengers in the regional configuration, while the suburban variant will seat 190. Talgo plans to offer electric and bi-mode versions for the 1435mm, 1520mm and 1668mm-gauge markets. All versions of the 160km/h train will have an entrance floor height of 550mm and a maximum axleload of 21 tonnes, making use of Talgo's independent guided wheelset technology.

Talgo says it plans to build a prototype train to validate the concept.
