Alstom will supply its Iconis solution to consolidate control of the existing network into a single centre. Alstom says that the new system will provide a comprehensive view of the network and allow Metrolinx to optimise its rail operations.
The work will be undertaken from Alstom's Toronto office and is due to be commissioned by the end of 2018.
