Under the turnkey contract AŽD Praha will supply six ESA 44-BC electronic interlockings, two AD-J level crossing systems, ABE-1-BC onboard systems together with systems diagnostics and power supplies. The deal also includes electronic point machines, which will be installed by BC as part of an evaluation into the wider use of this technology.
All of the equipment will be produced in the Czech Republic with the exception of the power supplies, which will be manufactured under license in Belarus.
AŽD Praha is already working with BC on the modernisation of signalling on the 110km Zhlobin – Osipovič line.
