The project includes Elektra electronic interlockings for five stations, an operational control centre at Püspökladány, and an ETCS Level 2 radio block centre. The project will be completed by the end of 2015, when around 180 points and 340 signals will fall under the jurisdiction of the new control centre.
Hungarian ETCS contract awarded
HUNGARY'S National Infrastructure Development Company (NIF) has awarded a consortium of Thales and Hungarian partner Dunántúli a Euros 70m contract to design, supply, install and commission ETCS Level 2 on the 66km Szajol - Püspökladány line in Eastern Hungary.
