Mixed bag for freight and passenger operators
After experiencing an economic crisis in recent years, Brazil’s economy was slowly beginning to recover at the start of 2020 - that is, until the Covid-19 pandemic hit, causing Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to drop by around 4.5% in 2020.

New Brazilian government to back rail freight development
