Canadian Pacific reports 6% rise in 2020 operating income
CANADIAN Pacific (CP) has reported a 6% rise in operating income to $C 3.3bn ($US 2.58bn) in 2020 compared with 2019, with a 280 base point improvement in its operating ratio to 57.1%. CP also achieved a 4% increase in fourth-quarter operating income to $C 928m, compared with the same period in 2019.

Canadian Pacific completes acquisition of Detroit River Rail Tunnel
CANADIAN Pacific (CP) has purchased the remaining 83.5% share of the 2.6km Detroit River Rail Tunnel, worth approximately $US 312m, from former partner Omers Infrastructure.
