Ferrovienord orders 31 Alstom trains for Lombardy regional services

ITALIAN operator Ferrovienord has signed a €194m contract with Alstom for 31 regional trains for operation in the Lombardy Region of Italy. The contract is the first within a framework agreement signed with Ferrovienord’s parent company North Milan Railway (FNM). The trains will be delivered from 2022 onwards.

NORTH Milan Railways (FNM) and Hitachi Rail Italy (HRI) signed an eight-year framework agreement on September 12 for up to 120 Caravaggio double-deck EMUs.
