Full extension of Paris T4 tram-train line opens

French government and Île-de-France Mobility agree Covid-19 subsidy
THE French state and Île-de-France Mobility, which oversees public transport services in the Paris region, have agreed a €1.4bn subsidy repayable over 16 years to cover passenger revenue losses incurred as a result of the Covid-19 crisis.

Alstom-Bombardier to supply new Paris metro trains
PARIS Transport Authority (RATP) and Ille de France Mobility have awarded a consortium of Alstom and Bombardier a €530m contract to supply 44 trains for use on lines 3bis, 7bis and 10 of the Paris metro network. The contract includes options for up to 410 trains.
