AUSTRIAN Federal Railways (ÖBB) has awarded the FF Koralm joint venture of Porr Bau and Rhomberg Bahntechnik a €160m contract to fit out the 32.8km Koralm Tunnel from May 2021.

Tunnelling completed on Austria’s 33km Koralm tunnel
ÖBB Infrastructure completed tunnelling of the €5.4bn 32.9km Koralm tunnel on June 17, 18 years after the first exploratory tunnels were bored.
