CN to acquire Quebec - New York line from CSX
CANADIAN National Railway (CN) announced on August 29 that it has reached an agreement with CSX to acquire more than 350km of track between Valleyfield in Quebec and Woodard in the US state of New York.

Veovo selected for New York Subway passenger flow pilot
TRANSIT Tech Lab, a start-up accelerator programme run by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and the Partnership for New York City (PFNYC), has selected passenger flow and capacity management company Veovo to carry out a one year pilot project to address crowded platforms on the New York Subway.

New York road congestion charge to support rail networks
