THE Baltic states have signed a third Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) grant agreement funded by the European Union (EU) for the construction of the Rail Baltica railway infrastructure, including a CEF contribution of up to €110m of the €130m agreement.
THE Rail Baltica joint venture company of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, RB Rail, invites bids by July 4 for a study into the procurement and deployment strategy for the development of a single concept for the energy system for the entire project.
LATVIA’s Ministry of Transport has issued a call for tender on behalf of RB Rail for the detailed design and design supervision of a 60km section of the standard-gauge Rail Baltica project linking Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. The deadline for submissions is June 18.
