Alstom-Bombardier to supply new Paris metro trains
PARIS Transport Authority (RATP) and Ille de France Mobility have awarded a consortium of Alstom and Bombardier a €530m contract to supply 44 trains for use on lines 3bis, 7bis and 10 of the Paris metro network. The contract includes options for up to 410 trains.

THE Italian city of Florence opened a 5km extension of its rail network on February 11. Line T2 runs from Unità to Peretola Airport, and passengers will be able to travel on the network free of charge until February 25.

Keolis and RATP Dev selected for Paris’ CDG Express operating contract
THE French government has named the Hello Paris consortium, comprising Keolis and RATP Dev, as preferred bidder for a contract to operate the CDG Express service which will provide a direct link between Paris Gare de l’Est and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
