THE LAST of 220 Bombardier Flexity Outlook low-floor LRVs for Brussels Transport Authority (Stib) was officially handed over on March 17 in the presence of Brussels regional mobility minister Mr Pascal Smet Stib CEO Mr Brieuc de Meeûs.
BRUSSELS Transport Company (Stib) has selected Ingeteam to supply its Ingeber energy recovery system for its metro network. The system is designed to recover 10-30% of heat energy generated during braking, convert it to electricity and return it to the grid.

BRUSSELS transport authority Stib has awarded Alcatel-Lucent a contract to supply a fibre-optic broadband communications network as part of the preparations for the automation of the city's metro system.
