First Green Line LRVs enter service in Boston
MASSACHUSETTS Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) introduced the first of 24 LRVs into passenger service on the 36.4km Green Line in Boston on December 21. CAF is supplying the vehicles under a $US 118m contract.

Oklahoma City Streetcar opens
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in the US city of Oklahoma on December 14 to mark the opening of the city’s first light rail network. Passengers will be able to use the system free-of-charge until January 5.
