Škoda Transportation wins Warsaw metro train contract
ŠKODA Transportation has been confirmed as the winner of a contract to supply up to 45 six-car metro trains to Warsaw, including an initial order for 37 trains, with the first cars due to be delivered two years after contract signing. The contract is worth almost Zlotys 8bn ($US 2bn).

WARSAW’s northeastern district of Targówek joined the city’s metro network on September 15 with the opening of the 3.1km eastern section of Line M2 from Dworzec Wileński to Trocka.
