PLANS for a £200m extension to the Midland Metro light rail system from Wednesbury to Brierley Hill have been handed to Britain's secretary of state for transport, Mr Chris Grayling.

THE Midland Metro in Wolverhampton, Britain, will be extended after being given the go-ahead on June 21. Preparatory work on the 0.8km extension will start later this year as part of the £120 million redevelopment of the city centre.
