PASSENGER operations began on January 18 on the two-line Optics Valley Tramway network, which serves the Donghu New Technology Development Zone southeast of Wuhan.
WUHAN added 55.3km to its metro network on December 26 with the opening of two new lines and an extension.
TRIAL operation began on the first light rail line in Wuhan on July 28, with the launch of 28 days of free travel on the 16.8km Line T1, which serves southwestern districts of the city.
