The platform is designed for the maintenance of catenaries and lighting systems, and while it has the same dimensions as the RR 14 EVO 2, it three steering modes and four wheel drive, with a maximum speed of 19km/h.

It is also equipped with Platform Basket’s superstructure levelling system, a standard spring loaded pantograph system with two blade options (1600/1900mm), an encoder to measure the distance between track and overhead wires, and two digital display screens, one in the basket and one in the ground-level control panel.

A manual winch used to help fit and remove the pantograph, which can be towed behind the working platform, will also be launched.
