As part of the network modernisation project, Kapsch will supply geo-redundant call servers, media gateways, home location registers, a service control point, its Kairos mobile switching centre, as well as provide maintenance services up to 2030.
Installation will take place in cooperation with Synerail on 15,000km of track already equipped with Kapsch's GSM-R technology up to December 2015.
