Nomad Log is based on three components: the application, which can be installed on any mobile device using Android OS 2.2 or above, a remote server, and a web access management interface. The inspector can detect defects in the track and communicate the data in real time through a website, allowing decisions to be taken instantly. Faults can be filtered by a range of parameters, including location, type, severity, and date.
The inspected line is mapped on the device's GPS, and every defect is marked according to its GPS position, which allows automatic recognition of the location by other devices.
