Schwihag will invest £2m in its facility at Thorne in northeast England with the aid of an inward investment grant from Doncaster Council.
The facility currently employs 25 staff and Schwihag plans to take on four further employees as part of the expansion.
Schwihag says the expansion will help it to meet demand from customers such as Network Rail, London Underground, and Irish Rail (IE).
