THE Société du Grand Paris (SGP) has chosen public works group NGE to install all track and overhead electrification and fit out the tunnels on the Grand Paris Express (GPE) orbital metro Line 16.
NGE subsidiary TSO will lead a consortium including a second subsidiary, TSO Caténaires, and Eiffage for lots 2 and 3 of the 17km section of the 27.5km Line 16 between Aulnay-sous-Bois and Noisy-Champs under a €111m contract.
Work is due to begin in summer 2023 with completion planned for the first half of 2024.
NGE has also been selected to undertake similar work on the 2.4km section of GPE Line 17 Nord between Le Bourget Airport and Le Bourget RER station.
