There are 3062 exhibitors from 61 countries at this year’s event and the 41 halls and 3100m of track are fully booked. The lack of space outside means that road-rail vehicles are not on track this year to leave room for rail vehicles.

“We try to make a quantum leap in our programme every two years,” Göke says. “This we have a Hackathon to develop new solutions. We had 400 innovations registered and selected 146 as world premieres which is a new record for InnoTrans.”
