The handover was conducted at the Lotos Kolej siding in Gdańsk on September 4. The remaining two locomotives will be delivered later this month.
The locomotives are authorised for operation in Poland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, and are designed to operate on the four common European electrification standards: 25kV ac, 15kV ac, 3kV dc and 1.5kV dc.
