Most of the order will be for RZD's freight operations, with 214 twin and triple-unit electric, 116 twin-unit and one three-unit diesels, with the order completed by a single Liquid Natural Gas-fuelled gas turbine GT1h freight locomotives.
RZD is ordering 39 passenger electric locomotives, with four dual-voltage EP20s, 35 EP2Ks and four EP1Ms planned.
In addition, 15 diesel TEP70BS are being ordered for passenger work, as well as 107 shunters and 10 dual 1067mm/1520mm gauge twin-unit TG16Ms for Sakhalin in preparation for the area's conversion to Russian gauge tracks.
Uralskie Lokomotivy, TransMashHolding and Sinara will supply the locomotives to RZD.
