CORYS TESS, France, is to supply five driver simulators for French National Railways’ (SNCF) Bombardier Spacium 3.06 commuter emus, which are entering service at the end of the year in Paris.
The company will supply one full-motion and four desk-based simulators to familiarise more than 500 drivers with the trains, which include two radio systems, energy management systems and onboard CCTV , all of which will be replicated.
They will be installed at SNCF’s Saint-Ouen centre, and delivery will be synchronised with that of the new trains.
