for more Chinese trains in Europe. "Many European train operators and
financiers are keen to support the introduction of Chinese trains," he

that Chinese train builders can adapt themselves to an unfamiliar track
gauge, an unfamiliar electrical supply voltage and unfamiliar standards
in general, and deliver modern passenger trains within a very
challenging time scale. This will hopefully give other potential
European customers the confidence to take advantage of the excellent
value for money that Chinese rolling stock represents."
