INTERNATIONAL Railway Journal is inviting nominations for its second Young Leaders in Rail Award. The winning candidates will be profiled in a special feature in the December edition of the magazine and on railjournal.com throughout December.

The winners will be judged on their experience, industry contribution, leadership, voluntary experience and going above and beyond their daily tasks. All nominees must be under the age of 40 on January 1 2024. Self-nominations are welcome.

“Ideally, we would like to feature a broad spectrum of people in our Young Rail Leaders Award, it’s not just reserved for CEOs and executives, although nominations of high-level people are very welcome,” says Kevin Smith, IRJ’s editor-in-chief. “The aim to highlight the achievements of the sector’s talented young people to the global railway industry. Hopefully their stories will inspire others to achieve great things.”

Nominations are open until November 10 via the link below. We are looking forward to reading the nominations and selecting the winners.
