Denton County Transportation Authority, Texas, has awarded Stadler a $US 73 million contract to supply 11 GTW 2/6 dmus for the A-train commuter rail service, which will operate on the 34km Denton-Carrollton line north of Dallas. Services will begin in December 2010, initially using rolling stock from Trinity Rail Express, and will interchange with Dallas Area Rapid Transit's Green Line at Trinity Mills station in Carrollton. The Stadler trains will be delivered between August 2011 and April 2012 and will enter service by September 2012. Each train will seat 96 passengers with a total capacity of 200.
Styrian Provincial Railways (StLB), Austria, has also selected Stadler to supply three dmus and three emus for the two lines of the Graz S-Bahn it operates. The dmus will operate Graz - Gleisdorf - Weiz services while the emus will be used on Line S11 from Graz to Peggau and &Uebelbach. The $US 30 million fleet will be delivered from October 2010.
