The contract includes preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as daily interior and exterior cleaning. Heavier maintenance tasks will also be carried out along with potential repair of damage incurred during operations.
The trains are expected to cover 10 million km during the course of the contract with the work set to be carried out at TCDD's maintenance depot in Ankara.
