MPK estimates that the contract will be worth at least Zlotys 192m ($US 51m). It requires the first three vehicles to be delivered by December 15 2018, or two months earlier if possible, with delivery completed by November 30 2019.
Bids will be evaluated according to price (80%), the proportion of low floor (15%) - MPK requires at least 20% of the vehicle to be low floor, the ability to deliver the first three vehicles by October 15 2018 (3%), and the degree to which pneumatic equipment does not require technical examination (2%).
MPK operates a standard-gauge network of 22 tram lines which is electrified at 600V dc.
