Tickets for Thalys high-speed trains and SNCF were made available on bahn.de and through the DB Navigator app from October 2, while Eurostar services will be added from October 8.
Austrian Federal Railways’ (ÖBB) overnight services that start or end in Germany will also be made available, including intra-German connections such as Hamburg - Freiburg. Trenitalia long-distance and ÖBB bookings have been available since the beginning of the year.
“With the expansion of the international booking, we fulfill one of the most frequently expressed customer requests,” says digital business DB Vertrieb managing director, Mr Mathias Hüske.
