The contract will run from December 2022 to December 2035, and includes the operation of around 3.8 million train-km per year on four routes:
- RE10 Frankfurt (Oder) - Cottbus main station - Leipzig main station
- E13 Cottbus main station - Senftenberg,
- RB11 Frankfurt (Oder) - Cottbus main station - Falkenberg/Elster, and
- RB49 Cottbus main station - Falkenberg/Elster.
The tender also includes options for operation of line RE13 to Elsterwerdas, and RE10V from Cottbus main station to Leipzig main station.
The closing date to request to qualify is August 1.
