Another five units will be delivered this year and the remainder next year.
"The results of initial tests are positive," says Mr Jaroslav Grim, CEO of the Velim test centre (VUZ). "I am optimistic that the testing process will proceed without major problems and the unit can be put into operation on time."
CD placed the order with Pesa 14 months ago. The trains will be known as RegioShark in the Czech Republic.
