The wagons will be used to carry iron ore from the mines at Ørtfjell to the processing facilities and docks at Mo i Rana.
Kiruna Wagon says the bottom-dumping vehicles will have a 30-tonne axleload and a significantly lower tare weight than similar wagons. The first vehicles will be delivered to Norway this autumn.
Since 2004 Kiruna Wagon has supplied more than 1000 Fammoorr 050 ore hoppers to Swedish mining company LKAB.
