Pesa offers new Dart emu to PKP Intercity

PESA Bydgoszcz is offering a new design of emu to Polish long-distance operator PKP Intercity in its bid for a contract to supply and maintain 20 trains for Jelenia Góra - Lodz - Warsaw - Bialystok/Lublin and Lublin – Warsaw – Katowice – Bielsko Biala services.

The Dart emu can be supplied in 160km/h and 200km/h variants and will be compliant with European EN15227/4 crashworthiness standards.

The 150m-long train offered to PKP Intercity will seat 352 passengers in standard class and 60 passengers in first class accommodation.
