FREIGHT logistics company Ceva has launched a new rail freight service linking Shilong, in southern China’s Guangdon province, to Hamburg, Germany.

The train will run from Shilong to Manzhouli, Zabakalsky (Russia), Brest (Belarus), Malaszewicze (Poland), before arriving in Hamburg 17-19 days later.

Ceva says the service will save customers up to two days compared with other routes, reducing costs.

Ceva first operated China - Europe services from Suzhou in 2010, and has built a network connecting key Chinese cities with destinations including Moscow, Lodz, Warsaw, Duisburg, Nuremburg, and Tilburg.
