A public auction is scheduled for September 6, and the first train should be delivered by June 2017. The contractor will supply 15 trains in 2017, and a further 12 in 2018.
Škoda Transportation subsidiary Vagonmash, and Octyabrsky Electric Car Plant (OEVRZ) which are both currently supplying for the metro, are expected to compete for the tender.
