The programme is due to be completed by the end of this year and will extend the service life of the vehicles by 15 years.
Nizhny Novgorod’s 21km metro network comprises the north-south Gor'kovsko-Avtozavodskaya Line and the Sormovsko-Meshcherskaya Line, which was extended to the Nizhniy Novgorod Stadium in June 2018.
