This project includes IONX telematics equipment, proprietary wireless sensors, and the company’s Rail Supply Chain Visibility (RSCV) software application, which enables keepers and operators to remotely monitor the status of their wagons.
Ionx says that in addition to wagons the ultra-low power wireless telematics systems will be installed on other unpowered assets with the aim of improving overall asset utilisation and reliability.
