Stadler Pankow is supplying 16 bidirectional LRVs for the city’s first light rail line under a contract awarded by project developer Odense Letbane in 2017. Each 29.2m-long five-section vehicle will accommodate 60 seated passengers and 133 standees.
Delivery of the first vehicle to Odense is scheduled for early 2020.
The 14.4km line from Tarup Centre to Hjallese is due to open at the end of the first quarter of 2021.
