Grube was chairman of the executive board of German Rail (DB) from 2009 to 2017, and Vossloh says his comprehensive experience and expertise in the rail industry will contribute substantially to the further development of the Vossloh Group.
Grube was appointed chairman of the supervisory board of Bombardier Transportation in 2019, and he is also a member of the supervisory board of Deutsche Bank.
His appointment comes after Dr Bernhard Düttmann resigned from his position on Vossloh’s supervisory board, effective December 31 2019, due to his commitments at Ceconomy.
Mr Ulrich M Harnacke, who took over as chairman of the supervisory board in 2019, will again chair the Audit Committee following Grube’s appointment.
