The framework contract will commence on January 1 2021 and run until December 31 2024 with an optional six-year extension. An initial order for 50 vehicles is guaranteed.
The announcement includes a clause that all or part of the framework contract can be passed on to any ÖBB company or to the 100%-state owned Graz-Köflacher Rail (GKB).
The closing date for bids is August 24 2020.
