Conversion of Amstelveen line to light rail complete
THE conversion of the Amstelveen hybrid LRV/light metro line linking Amsterdam South and Amstelveen Westwijk into a conventional light rail line has been completed, with the line due to reopen with the start of the 2021 timetable on December 13.

THE Dutch anti-monopoly Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) has approved the further development of a national Mobility as a Service (MaaS) platform which will allow public transport services such as bus, light rail, metro and train to be booked together with shared cars and taxis.
