Adif AV awarded €1.18m grant for regenerative braking project
SPAIN’s high-speed network infrastructure manager Adif AV has been awarded a grant of €1.18m from the country’s Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) to offset the cost of six reversible traction substations, which are facilitating regenerative braking on Spain's conventional rail network.

Adif reports losses for first half of 2020

MOROCCO: Moroccan National Railways (ONCF) recorded Dirham 3.76bn ($US 385.4m) in revenue in 2019, up 9.3% from 2018, with a surplus of Dirham 929m, up 10.5%. Passenger numbers were up 8%, to 38.2 million for the year.

Testing completed on Vandellós - Tarragona line
ADIF High Speed (Adif AV) has completed 15,000km of tests on the 64.1km Vandellós - Tarragona section of the TEN-T Mediterranean Corridor in north-eastern Spain, paving the way for the line to open by the end of the year.
