The agreement covers the supply, installation and commissioning of the radar-based equipment, which complies with SIL 4 Cenelec 50129 standards.
The system comprises a radar sensor, corner reflector, equipment cabinet, and a remote control terminal, and is capable of detecting any obstacle with a diameter larger than 60cm.
Up to four radar sensors can be used in the same installation covering all geometrics of a level crossing, and the system is designed to operate in low light and extreme weather conditions.
