€890m EIB loan for Madrid - Extremadura high-speed line
THE European Investment Bank (EIB) has announced it will provide a €890m loan to Spanish infrastructure manager Adif High Speed (Adif AV) to finance a section of the Madrid - Extremadura high-speed line, which will complete the European Atlantic Corridor and improve connections between Spain and Portugal.

Madrid Metro West and Alstom digitise light rail track inspection
SPANISH transport operator Madrid Metro West (MLO), in cooperation with Alstom, has carried out a project to digitise track inspections on the city’s Metro Ligero light rail network as part of a service agreement already in place between the two companies.

Renfe awards CAF narrow-gauge fleet order
